On the Fence (Post)

Last week I participated in What Would You Do With It? Wednesday at The Country Chic Cottage.   I had an interesting item I found in the scrap pile by our shed so I asked Angie's readers: What would you do with it?
Split rail fence post
What a great experience!  I received so many wonderful project ideas!  (If you would like to participate, Angie is looking for contributors)  Since we are working on our landscaping, I really liked the suggestion to make the fence post into a rustic planter.
I think it came out so cute!  I'm not famous for my green thumb so let's hope I can keep these plants alive!   You can read more about the project and check out this week's What Would You Do With It? project here.

Thanks for visiting!

  6. It turned out beautifully - very sweet and rustic - the jute twine was the perfect addition.
