Take a Ride in my Convertible Baby(Doll)...

…or Teddy Bear.
Remember this free doll cradle from Freecycle?
It was dirty and smelled like smoke.  I cut the top off with a saw and added those cute finials with glue.  Then spray paint, fabric from etsy and a glue gun finished it off!

This will be so cute in my daughter's room!  I'm thrilled with the transformation and she seems to like it too.
Here's the before and after one more time.
Before (yuck!)

  6. Very very cute!! Love it in green, and the fabric is really pretty. A shame that smoke ruins so many otherwise nice pieces. Visiting from The CSI Project. My link is an older post--#5 on the list. :)

  11. That is so darling!! What a lucky find. I love the color green you chose. I seem to always fall back on white, but the bright green is so fresh and playful. I just need one of these for my girls....

  21. I love this! Can you be my mom and make me some cool stuff? (Oh wait, you already made me that awesome jewelry stand!) Not ONLY did you take something free and make it functional and funky, but it is going to match Baby O's room beautifully. I'm constantly impressed by you, Sis.
